Mr. Wisdom, (Clifton Billings) is a man with a very gentle and
compassionate mission. He serves a combination of Hare Krishna and Soul
food at very reasonable prices and large portions.

On Sunday he offers
a free Vegetarian lunch and Spiritual Program. We had a plate of Black-eyed
peas, mung peas, sauteed potatoes, lightly spiced over rice.

The walls have different sayings and pictures of Spiritual leaders.
There is also a little store area with eclectic offerings. Try the
Wheat grass. It's grown in the backyard.

We made it to the Wednesday Santa Monica's Farmers Market where we picked up lots of beautiful organic items there and tonight we present you a great White Asparagus recipe.

Brown chopped garlic in oil for a couple of minutes. Add
Asparagus and stir for a couple of minutes, then cover for 4 minutes to
steam. Sprinkle a few drops of hot sesame oil and thyme. Stir in Hosin
sauce. Garnish the dish with strawberry slices.

• 1 lb Organic White Asparagus - chop off hard bottoms and clean
• 1/2 small garlic head
• Hoisin Sauce
• hot sesame oil
• 1/4 t thyme

There is nothing like getting a vase full of stargazers for your birthday. Most of the stargazers were completely closed and it is a real treat when new ones open every day enveloping the area with their sweet scent.

Intersperced around the stargazers were a few Cala Lillys lending spirals and a semblance of luxuray to the presentation and greens below creating a bed for the yin and yang of the stargazers and cala lilys.
